If I have a mantra it would be "The purpose is to appreciate the world".
And for me the happiest way is by making images and music. I'm a retired cameraman, now living in Southport working as a print maker, painter and student of guitar playing. I have been exhibiting regularly for the last 15 years and have undertaken numerous commissions of pet animals. I enjoy print making especialy as there is an excitement in the final reveal, similar to that found in the darkroom in film photography. For painting I use water colour on natural wood backgrounds, a highly unusual technique that I have now used for over 30 years.
